Mums the word pt 5
I get a second chance! It's been a little more than a month and I'm really glad I get to see familiar face again, though perhaps glad isn't the best word to describe it. 'Proceed with Caution' must be the phrase for the night! However, I am still expecting shenanigans...epic shenanigans!

Will & Kate + 2 billion
This is going to be a long night! I have every intention of staying awake for the next 5 hours. If you need to ask why and perhaps if you live under a rock the reason I was staying up is the ROYAL WEDDING of course! I'm watching my live coverage on TLC who has been showing royal programming all week. There is less than an hour left before the actual wedding events take place. I have said it before I am fascinated by the British, and this is a monumental historic occasion, that I wouldn't miss!

Word Vomit - Android edition
Dear Android (my T-Mobile myTouch),
I fkn hate your fkn guts right now! I am so tired of putting up with your shit. I honestly want to just throw you against a wall right now, or take a hammer and break your stupid unresponsive system! Why do you do this to me? I have been kind to you, I haven't dropped much and I have been patient when you act up, but enough is enough!!! I hate the fact that I have to wait to make a phone call, or the fact the the home screen sometimes takes about 5 minutes to load. I hate the fact that I sometimes can't text because you decide to be unresponsive. I've only had you a little more than a year but I honestly don't know how much longer I am going to keep you.
I have so much hate for you right now, I don't even want to look at you! Don't bother ringing to get my attention, I don't want to pick you up, though the way you have been acting, I doubt you would even know how to ring properly anymore. Don't notify me I have a text message, because you refuse to allow me to the respond easily. Maybe a break will do us both some good, because after the update a few months ago you have been horrible. Maybe time apart will give you a chance to figure it out, or maybe I'll just find someone else.
Love,
Kylah

Weekend 2, Shenanigans 0
I've been spoiled! I've had amazing weekends, full of shenanigans nearly every time I've gone out. Up until this weekend that is. It's been rather disappointing really, yesterday my friend and I went out and were home before 1 am, but since it was a Thursday and we had never gone out on a Thursday before we figured it was just a slow day. But today, on Friday, when we usually do go out and find many others out as well, I am sad to say it was completely dead and I was home before midnight! I blame this specific weekend, since Easter is on Sunday I'm going to assume that people are at home with their families. I feel cheated. This can't happen anymore, it's horribe. This experience has just made me more determined to make my next night out epic!!!

Remember to breathe
Maybe perhaps it bothers me a little. It shouldn't, but it does. It is very possible that it could be nothing, that I don't have all the information. Yes, it is possible, but then again a lot of things are possible. If we are now speaking of possibilities, well then something else that recently happened could possibly develop into something amazing. Perhaps. But all this uncertainty and slow ticking clock is rather nerve racking.
Okay, I've got this...
Okay, I've got this...

Challenge fail - Day 10
I actually wrote this yesterday but I guess I forgot to press 'Publish Post.' I don't know which is worst, starting but not finish posts or forgetting to publish them. Oh well, not important...
91.Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Most definitely a night owl! Haha a night owl who occasionally turns into a morning person
92.Can you touch your nose with your tongue?
Yes I can
93.Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows?
Yes...is this supposed to be hard?
94.Do you have pets?
No, but I wish I did. I want a chocolate lab puppy
95.How many rings before you answer the phone?
Rings? Well I'm currently using Love Song by The Cure as my ringtone and I have to admit sometimes I want to listen to the song so I let the phone ring as long as possible.
96.What is your best childhood memory?
Best? I'm not so sure, but some of my fondest memories are from when I was on the swim team
97.What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life?
They range from human remote control to working at the corporate communications department for the Hallmark Channel
98.Any new and exciting things that you would like to share?
New? yes. Exciting? kind of. Would I like to share? not just yet.
99.What is most important in life?
Enjoying/learning from the journey
100.What Inspires You?
My cousin, or shall I say kids in general. They are amazing human beings that often get over looked. They have a very unique/good simplistic view of life. When they fall, they get back up, they know they can always try again, and that there is good in people. Let me strive to be 10 again.

All's fair in love and war?
Ugh, I really don't know where to begin, but I equally don't know where I should end. All I will say right now is that my friend is making things really uncomfortable my asking me what I thought of people last night. I'm harboring a secret you see, so questions such as those are too be handled with great delicacy, or avoidance if possible! What's right, and what's wrong? I'm not so entirely sure anymore. Perhaps all is fair in love, war and weekend shenanigans...yes shenanigans indeed. These are the types of adventures that I can/will look back on and laugh/smile when I reminisce about my youth.

Smell-O-Vision 2.0
I had another strange experience today. However, I did not need to travel outside of my bedroom for it. When I awoke this morning, I was greeted by the scent of a certain cologne. This cologne I have not smelled in awhile, and the sweet mild scent danced around my nose for a couple of seconds before it drifted away. Again, this is not a product that is used in my home, and it is even stranger that this particular scent should be found in my room. What do you suppose it is? Why does it appear that I am being chased by the scents of products from my past?

Why did I not buy these sooner, I do not know, but now that I have them, I forsee more intricate nail designs in my future :D

Smell-O-Vision
I often forget the kind of powerful memories smell can bring about. As I walked by the bathroom just now, I was taken back. The scent was nothing extraordinary, just soap, but never the less, it wrapped itself around me and held me tight. The memory itself was also nothing really memorable, just something I had experienced hundreds of times before, but I missed it. The smell of dove soap lasted no more than a second, but I wanted it back. The funny thing, is that we don't use dove soap, so what combination of toiletries mimicked the scent of the soap, I do not know. It just seems almost cruel, those moments which I had taken for granted all those years ago, are the moments I want back now so desperately.

Monopoly? Yes please! I can easily say that Monopoly is my favorite board game (with Clue a close second). The new electronic version you say? No thanks, I like using paper money, and I don't care for the properties selling in the millions. I currently own three different Monopoly versions, The original blue Monopoly board game (with the then new bag-o-money playing piece), the Monopoly Texas edition, and for Christmas a couple years ago my mom bought me the entire Hasbro library vintage game set. These games, which include Monopoly and Clue, come in a box that resemble books, and look amazing when placed in a bookshelf. This is my go to Monopoly board of choice. Anyway...
Yesterday, I played a game of Monopoly with my 8 year old cousin. Now before you all shake your head at me for possibly taking advantage of an eight-year-old, she had my 18 year old brother, Dylan, advising her. My brother knows his way around a Monopoly board, as him and I use to have these day long monopoly tournaments shortly after receiving this game version. I know people who fight over the race car, and my cousins are quick to choose the dog, but I use the top hat....I ALWAYS use the top hat! It's my piece, though the thimble was once my piece of choice.
The game started off very badly, with me going to jail on 4 of my first 7 turns. After what seemed to be a three hour game, I finally bankrupted my young cousin, with the help of more than a couple lucky rolls which allowed me to avoid her three hotels on the orange color group (St. James Place, Tennessee Ave, New York Ave), which cost me $1,000+ both times I was so unfortunate to land there. At some point during the game I only had $8 dollars even after mortgaging some of my properties. I however did have two houses on all green properties (Pacific Ave, North Carolina Ave, Pennsylvania Ave), which cost her $400 each time she landed there, and she did land on North Carolina a couple of times. But it was on the final turn after I had safety passed that dreaded orange corner that she landed on Pacific Ave (with the addition of a new house) that she needed to pay me $900, and with her not receiving any income from her 3 hotels, she found herself bankrupt.
After our game my other cousin, her 10 year old sister, played against my brother, while I acted as banker. My cousin is very careful with her money, and she had us in stitches, laughing because she had her money to buy properties, but she also kept a separate pile she called her savings. Every time she would receive rent, money from chance/community chest, or for passing go, she would place some in her active stack and then say "this goes in savings." Haha I had never heard of anyone having a savings pile while playing Monopoly. Needless to say she was successful in her saving because at some point she had over $1,000 in her savings pile. However, sadly she fell victim to my brothers expensive properties and ultimately went bankrupt. In true tournament play, my brother and I are set to play a game to settle the undisputed Monopoly champion soon.

Challenge fail - Day 1
Recently, I've been debating whether or not to start a new 30 day blog challenge. But since a friend of mine started has started two and failed to complete them, and also my inability to finish mine in a timely manner, I've accepted the fact that they are a challenge. Anyway, I found this list and I will answer 10 questions at a time until I finish the list. There are 100 items so it should only take me 10 days but I make no promises. Shall we begin?

Perhaps...
I've been ridiculous lately. My behavior may be construed as reckless in some regards, careless at times, and impulsive to be sure. Though, as ridiculous as I believe I have been, it does not greatly exceed the limits of acceptable behavior. What I mean to say is that, I know that to some my attitude is in no way ridiculous, but it is different than what it has been in the past. In many ways, I like the change, it's never boring, I now have stories, and adventures. Although I have learned to take life less seriously, I am aware that there needs to moderation, I can't be ridiculous all the time or should I say, I don't want to be ridiculous all the time. So what you ask has brought on the change? What has made me throw caution to the wind? What has finally made me take risks? I thought about this for a while, and the answer is simple, I'm trying to miss you less...
