30 day blog challenge cont. Day 19

Day 19 - Your idea of the perfect first date

When I read this question one answer immediately came to my mind, and if you've watched Miss. Congeniality, then you probably know the answer too.

"I'd have to say April 25, because it's not too hot and not too cold, all you need is a light jacket." - Cheryl Frasier, Miss Rhode Island

I don't think there is such a thing as the perfect first date, haha they are filled will awkward moments and nervousness. I really wouldn't care where my date and I would go, as long as the conversation was fun. I think for me conversation is probably the most important part of a first date. Conversation aside, the way my date makes me feel is also extremely important (comfortable vs. uncomfortable) to me, but then I guess that might go hand in hand with conversation.

I went on a first date recently and to say it was a disaster would be an understatement. Haha the conversation was mostly one sided (me), and whenever my date did decide to speak his manner and tone wasn't inviting to say the least, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable all throughout dinner. I like to think that I'm easy to talk to, and yet on this particular date all my efforts were in vain. It was definitely an interesting experience and I'm only disappointed that at the end of the date I wasn't told that I was on MTV's Disaster Date, and I had won $60.

I don't think I'm asking for much, I'm not even asking my date to spend money, because as long as the conversation was fun,  I wouldn't mind trimming trees on a first date.
